EUS Professional Development Grants
The EUS has allocated funds to distribute several PD grants for EUS Members who have attended, or plan to attend education related conferences, seminars and sessions each semester. The EUS can grant up to four grants totalling 25% of the overall cost to attend, up to $100.
In order to apply for a grant, you will need to do the following things:
After all these are complete, an EUS executive member will get in touch with you within 5 business days to inform you of the status of your application.
Cheques for successful applicants will be made available at the EUS office after the application has passed. Only one grant per member per semester will be awarded, and members must be in good standing to be considered for the grant.
In order to apply for a grant, you will need to do the following things:
- Write a letter of intent - A paragraph or two about how this opportunity will enhance your teaching.
- Create a budget - A breakdown of all costs associated with you attending the conference. Include those that will be out-of-pocket. Click the link below to download a sample budget, which you can use to inform your own.
- Fill out the Microsoft Form Application - This form describes all application guidelines and rules. Compete the form and include your letter of intent and budget.
